Module MDOT-9 is a component of the Ampio SmartHome system, and can be used for:
- activating any devices/lighting linked to the Smart Home system
- informing about device/lighting status (on/off)
Module is controlled via CAN-Bus. Required voltage to power the module is 11-16V DC.
The contact switch has 9 sensor fields with the use of which any system receivers can be controlled. It is possible to configure a different action for a short tap, and another one for a longer press.
LED RGB lights placed over the sensor fields inform about the device’s status – whether it is on, or off. Their operations can also be freely conﬁgured, and can signal any other event that occurred in the system.
The brightness and colours of pictograms’ illumination, as well as the status lights, can be regulated in a conﬁguration programme according to customer’s preferences, so that they do not blind the user at night. The panel has a proximity sensor, thanks to which, when there is no object in front of the panel, the light intensity is set to a predefined value, and after bringing a hand closer to it, it will light up to a higher set value.
Pictograms that are offset-printed are extremely durable and allow for customisation of the graphic design to customer’s individual order (e.g. version for roller blinds control, lighting, atmospheric scenes).
The module is also equipped with a buzzer indicating a sensor ﬁeld has been pressed. User may adjust sound volume and type at their discretion.
The device has a port for connecting the Dallas 18B20 temperature sensor. The sensor data are transmitted to CAN bus and may be used for controlling heating systems, window blinds or any other system peripherals.
A special guiding plate is used for installing the switch.
The module may be programmed with a special programmer, available for authorised technicians, and the Ampio SmartHome CAN configurator software. This program provides for setting up the module’s response to input signals and other information from the CAN bus.
