General features

Access control module is a part of the Ampio system that was created mainly for the hotel industry and developers. On the surface, the module looks like a standard touch panel from the Ampio family, but inside, it has been fitted with an RFID card reader. The access control module has 9 sensor fields.

A guiding plate is added to each touch panel. It is used to properly install the panel so that its glass is possibly closest to the wall, ensuring nice aesthetics and no visible gap between the panel and the wall.

What differentiates this panel from MDOT-9 is that instead of a temperature sensor, it has an RFID sensor connector. More information about the functionalities of both panels can be found HERE.

The module may be programmed with a special programmer, available for authorised technicians, and the Ampio SmartHome CAN configurator software. This program provides for setting up the module’s response to input signals and other information from the CAN bus.
