General features

The MOUT-4s module is a component of the Ampio Smart Home system. It has four voltage outputs. The output voltage may be controlled within range of 0-10V.

The device has been designed for integration with devices with control voltage input, compatible with one of the following standards: 0-10V, 1-10V, 0-5V.

There is a variety of devices, available in the market, which may have their parameters adjusted by applying suitable voltage to the control input. These include lighting fixtures, recuperators, and many more.

The module is controlled via CAN bus. Its power supply requires voltage within range of 12-16VDC.
The module may be programmed with the Ampio programmer, available for authorised technicians, and the Ampio Smart Home Konfigurator software. In this software, output behaviour depends on information available in CAN bus.

The device is equipped with two connectors: Ampio CAN bus and an output connected to earth.
There are two LED indicators, green and red, in the face of the module.

Green indicator – CAN communication:

  • single flash every second cycle – CAN communication operational
  • two flashes every second cycle – module unable to receive information from other devices received
  • three flashes every second cycle – module unable to transmit information to CAN bus

Red LEDs indicate control states of individual outputs.

Programming

The module can be programmed with a special Ampio programmer, available to authorised installers, and the Ampio SmartHome CAN configurator software. This programme enables setting up the module’s response to input signals and other information from the CAN bus.
